Equipping students for academic success, life leadership, and fulfilling their unique potential.
Our dedicated system ensures comprehensive support for the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of every student.
Our holistic approach to welfare extends beyond mere discipline. It is rooted in Christian values, providing every student with confidential, non-academic support and robust mentorship. This includes stress management techniques, conflict resolution skills, and promoting a positive, inclusive school culture, managed by trained staff who collaborate closely with the administration and parents.
We conduct weekly assemblies focused on character development, integrity, and social responsibility, ensuring students are guided by a strong moral compass as they navigate academic pressures and social dynamics. Our goal is to cultivate emotionally intelligent young leaders.
We guide older students (Junior High School - JHS) through structured career exploration and future planning. This is a crucial phase where students begin to align their academic strengths with vocational aspirations. We facilitate workshops on subject choice selection, CV writing, and interview skills, preparing them for the competitive landscape of tertiary education and the job market.
Our program includes aptitude testing and personalized counseling sessions to help students identify the best Senior High School (SHS) or international pathway that matches their BECE potential and career goals. We maintain up-to-date resources on university admission requirements globally.
We view parents as indispensable partners in the education process. Effective communication and collaboration are vital for student success. We provide regular, scheduled consultations beyond the standard Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs), offering specific feedback on academic progression, behavior, and welfare concerns.
The school organizes specialized workshops focusing on topics such as digital citizenship, navigating adolescent challenges, and supporting academic stress at home. This unified approach ensures consistency and reinforces positive values, creating a powerful, supportive ecosystem for the child.
Rigorous, targeted strategies ensuring optimal performance in national and international examinations.
Our track record of BECE excellence is a cornerstone of CJ Schools' legacy. The preparation is systematic, commencing from JHS 1 and culminating in an intensive 10-month program in the final year.
This goes beyond standard classroom teaching. We run mandatory BECE Clinics on weekends, focusing solely on high-yield topics and complex problem-solving techniques. Students engage in weekly mock exams designed to simulate the actual BECE conditions, minimizing exam anxiety and maximizing endurance.
For students on the Cambridge curriculum track, preparation is geared towards Global Benchmarking and Conceptual Mastery.
Our program for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is focused on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent research skills. We utilize the rigorous Cambridge Progression Tests and checkpoint exams to assess student progress against international standards, providing comprehensive reports that guide instruction and identify gifted learners needing acceleration.
CJ Schools is deeply committed to inclusive education. We uphold the principle that every student, regardless of their learning profile, has the right to access a high-quality education and achieve success. Our SEN program is designed to identify, understand, and accommodate diverse learning needs with dignity and professionalism.
Our process begins immediately upon enrollment. We conduct baseline assessments and utilize teacher observation protocols to screen for potential learning difficulties, emotional barriers, or developmental delays. Early identification is crucial for effective intervention and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
For students officially identified with a Special Educational Need, a dedicated IEP is created in collaboration with the parents, the SEN Coordinator, and the child's teachers. This living document outlines specific, measurable goals, necessary curriculum accommodations, and intervention strategies.
IEPs are reviewed termly to monitor progress, adapt teaching strategies (differentiation), and adjust targets. This ensures that the support remains relevant and effective as the child develops.
Support is primarily delivered through Differentiated Instruction within the regular classroom environment. Teachers are trained to modify presentation, pace, and assessment methods (e.g., extended time, visual aids) to ensure full access to the curriculum.
For severe needs, Resource Support may include pull-out sessions for targeted skills development, speech therapy referrals, or academic mentoring. Our aim is always integration, using pull-out sessions only when absolutely necessary.
All teaching staff receive mandatory training on identifying common learning needs (e.g., Dyslexia, ADHD) and implementing IEP strategies. We strictly adhere to Ghana's Data Protection Act (Act 843) in handling confidential student welfare and medical records. Information is shared only on a strict 'need-to-know' basis to protect the student’s dignity and privacy.
